OT: Just for fun......Your Childhood toys?

Ok, so in my thread of Jantzen's Pics, I refer to him as my little "Monchichi" because of his hair. (Which was a toy I had as a child in the early 80's)

And it got me thinking about the toys my kids play with and which ones they will have fond memories of. I struggle with what to save and what to get rid of. There are so many things I wish I still had. but sadly the only thing I have from childhood is my 2 Cabbage Patch dolls.

(hated that stupid Rubix cube! I cheated and took stickers off and moved them around! LOL)

Anything to do with Michael Jackson (Shirts, etc..) I even had crazy looking bright red parachute pants with Zippers all over them...........and yes i did wear them.  LOL

Most of these old shows still come on the Boomerang channel on Satellite............Just FYI.  My 9 yr old son watches alot of them.

Oh don't get me started about Michael Jackson........I had the glove and all. Also Madonna. I thought I looked cute trying to dress like her.

My mom didn't think so!

I played with all the same toys.  Pound puppies, Care Bears, played board games alot and so much more!

They really dont make toys and cartoons like they use to.  We have the Boomerang channel and it has all those cartoons on it, they even show ones from the 60's and 70's.

I had all of the Rainbow bright dolls, cabbage patch kids, Care Bears, My Little Ponies, a teddy bear appropriately named Teddy, strawberry shortcake

On TV I wanted rainbow bright, care bears, my little pony, Strawberry Shortcake, smurfs, snorks, frazzle rock

oh what a time machine! lol

I Loved Punky!!  I also really enjoyed the Fraggles. I bought my son a  DVD of them.... thinking he would like them, he just laughed and made fun of them..........lol

LOL my husband also loved Fraggle Rock and bought Sadie some DVDs and she has no interest whatsoever!

I Love Fraggle Rock. I have DVD's of the first few seasons. My boys liked watching it until recently. Now they are too old and too cool for that stuff!
