Totally OT: DTV Conversion Commercials

Okay...totally off topic but I had to ask some people :)

Anyone SICK of the DTV Conversion commercials???? We are almost done and no more :) THANK GOD...was so ready for the political ads to go away, then this....what next? :)

yea, you are so not missing anything.....lol.....they have spent so much on this campaign....at first it was suppose to happen right after election and obama put it off (or his admin) and now that is all we hear about...ugh...but i think tomorrow is the date for conversion....very exciting :)

Digital TV. Anyone without a digital box will not get any tv. Have to a cable box or some special box you can buy.

How about commercials that somehow make us NOT want food... how about those kind of commercials that send like messages that make us not enjoy food so much!!

I think those would be much better!!

I totally agree......funny thing is when they first pushed the date to June 12th I thought "Oh, I'll have the baby by then!"  and now June 12th is tomorrow and NO BABY !!!

Maybe he'll be born on the "historic" conversion day (something to remember - LOL). 

I'll be glad when the news stops mentioning it too.... they keep reminding us there are people who aren't ready..... aren't ready !?!?   Well there's no way to make them ready besides pulling the plug!

Unfortunatly, this is my life right now, my husband works in the industry and it has been a total and complete nightmare. I am sick of hearing about it, sick of seeing the commercials and I can't wait for it to be over.

BUT the truth is that 1000's of people will not be ready tomorrow, and basically those who aren't are going to be the hardest to explain it to (mostly the eldery). I just can't wait for the whole damn thing to be over.
