Cute Father's Day shirt!!
I just replied in another post about the 'Daddy, you rock' painted rock that Dylan did for my hubby for Father's Day. I got this email and I might try and do it, too. I can do Cassidy's handprints and Dylan can do his own. So freaking cute! And cheap, I might add. :o)

That's a great idea! I also like Donna's suggestion of adding to it every year. My Dad loves sentimental stuff like that too.
Is the fabric paint non-toxic? I'm guessing they would have to be if they're suggested on BabyCenter. I've only used fingerpaints to make baby hand prints so I have no idea what is best to use.
Thanks for sharing and I hope you, Dylan and Cassidy are all doing well!
Hugs,

I am not sure if it's non-toxic or not, I have it hidden so my hubby doesn't find it. I will take a peek in the morning and see if it's non-toxic, but like you said, it probably is.
I went to Wal-Mart earlier and bought a plain white shirt and blue paint for Dylan's hands and purple for Cassidy's and a black fabric marker.
I just hope Dylan and Cassidy are cooperative for this!! :o)

I don't know if its non toxic, but you do it quickly, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem. Keep wipes right there and have one person hold the baby and the other the shirt. Also, if you've never done it, make sure you put some kind of backing in the shirt so the paint doesn't come through or stick to the other side. I usually use some kind of cardboard and leave the shirt on it until the paint is dry. We usually will put the paint on a paper plate to make it easier. To get (any kind) of paint off, (quicker) you can cover their hands with dish soap, or mix the paint with soap (teacher tricks). The fabric paint is one I haven't done that with, because I want it to stick really well to the shirt. Good luck, post pictures if you can!
