I cant say that i had any dizzy spells BEFORE i got pregnant.....but there were actually many many times {during the first trimester especially} that id get dizzy spells and feel so lightheaded that if i didnt sit down or get sum sort of carb in my system i wus going to pass out. I mentioned it to the DR and since they routinely do not do ur glucose test till 28 weeks.....they did mine at 22{wooptie do a whole 6weeks early haha} but they noticed that i actually had extreamly low sugar levels! since we as gastric bypass patients cant do the drink that 'normal' people do they have you fast...then go eat and then come back 2 hours later to check your sugars....odly enough my sugars would go from LOW like 60 to after eating it would get lower!! had the DR's alittle surprised....since it shoulda gone way up after eating MCDONALDS {i know of all the things! but htats the only thing near that hosptial} soooo again at 28 weeks they checked again.....they told me to EAT MORE PROTEIN because that could be the cause of all this dizziness because the baby is actually taking all the nutrients and things that IT needs and leaving me with the left overs and apparntly it wusnt enough.....so THAT might be sumthing u wanna try be4 u get all nervous and go to the DR and so on. my BP has been FINE perfect actually....119/69 for most of my visits. this pregnancy has been soooooo PERFECT that i sometimes forget that im pregnant! haha never got sick never really gained all the weight till now {8months along! haha} soo yea....the first trimester was very scary due to the fact that you can not really feel the baby and the fact that the sugar levels were off. but i think ull be fine! good luck with everything.
