Baby Bug

Ok, I feel like I really want another baby right now. I'm like starting to obsess. I'm always checking on this website and reading through everything. My daughter is almost 3 1/2 yrs and know I should wait because I had the lap band in the beginning of Feb but I can't help this feeling that I want another child now. I already weigh less than I did when I got pregnant with my daughter which was definately a goal of mine to have before getting pregnant again. I have no health issues. My husband and I don't use birth control. We just use the rhythm method since birth control really messes with me. My periods have always been on time and regular so I think it's pretty reliable for us, but I don't know what to do about this feeling I have. Should we try now or should I wait? I guess I really just need some advice and opinions. 

I'd wait. Take the time you need to reach your goal first and then once you are at your healthiest start trying. One thing at a time. But that's just me.

My two cents for these type of questions is to WAIT if you go through the trouble of having the surgery then you should wait the one year and let the surgery work for you and get your body where you wanted it to be...the reason you had the surgery in the first place. Getting pregnant by accident while using birth control is one thing but having surgery and planning to get pregnant is not so smart and a waste of time for you and your surgeon!  So I say just give a littel more time to enjoy the new you and then getting pregnant will mean more...IMO!!

Thank you. I know logically that I should wait for exactly the reasons you stated and many more but it's just that whole feeling of really wanting another baby that it's driving me insane. How do I get that to go away?

Oh my gosh wait! I have heard the lap band is a challenge in itself and you need to be very focused and motivated w/ the lap band. You also neeeed to get on some kind of birth control or at the very least condoms because you will become extremely fertile! Trust me! lol!

Hello fellow Mn person...I'm up by Duluth but grew up in Mn my whole life! I'm not real sure where Ramsey is. Looks like were pretty close on due dates...you are just a couple weeks ahead of me!

I will actually be in Superior next weekend because my husbands band has a show up there on 6/20! Small world!
