Wow!! Not sure what to say since yours is there all the time. I go between uti, bv and yeast. So its always different. I would talk to the doc about other things you can try also. I sure hope it gets better or you soon!

Are you sure it's a yeast infection? I thought I had yeast but when I went to the doctor he said I didn't. He called it leukorea. It's just discharge that pregnant women get and it feels dirty and uncomfortable and irritating but he said it was hormones :(

The good bacteria in yogurt is Acidopholius (think that is the spelling)... anyways... if you go to a health food store and get a bottle of it... see if they have it kept in a cooler area... anyways... take 2 at breakfast, 2 at lunch and 2 at dinner for 3 days and you should see a difference... then go down to 1 each meal... this is what my PCP told me to do adn it works...

I had the same problem and tried the 3 day, torpedo looking inserts.  I only put them half way up also and used an external cream.  I also drank the Dannon Carb Control yogurt drinks and the yogurt cups.  I felt the same way, wanted to shove a toilet brush up there!!!  LOL!

Good luck.  It's so hard being pregnant and worrying if you can take something or not!

I agree with the poster that said to make sure it is a yi. They can test really easy. Also, monistat doesn't work for me....gynelotrimin does. And I was told not to use any 3 day formulas at all...only the 7 day formula. sucks...but safer. Hope you get relief soon. Unfortunately it happens alot during pg. Shari

I've been having issues with this as well, but I found that it seems to help keep it from coming back if I use a panty liner every day (and change it out a couple times a day). I think the extra discharge plus the summer warmth just creates too friendly of an environment, so having the panty liner there to absorb the extra moisture really helps.
