37 week 5 day appointment today
I had my 37 week 5 day appointment today :) Still 3-4ishcm but Doc said that cervix is ALOT softer than it was before. That is good - that means it should continue to efface and hopefully we will see some action soon. :) She stripped me (and made me promise not to tell because usually she would make me wait another week - LOL), but doesn't know how well it will work since Bella is still high and needs to move down.... so, any tips on how to get this baby to drop??
She said that once Bella drops since my cervix is so soft it is basically going to melt away and that I will have a "rocket fast" labor. I am cool with that! :) She said that if I don't go into labor by my appointment next week that we could talk about induction if I wanted. I really don't want to go that route this time, even though I was induced with Bailey and everything was fine. If I go with induction I want to wait until maybe I am a little further and see if she is open to just breaking my water instead of hooking me up to pitocin right off the bat. I just think I have a better chance of no epi if I don't have pitocin.
She thinks Bella should be around 6 - 6 1/2 lbs. Still bigger than my Bailey who was 5 lbs 9 oz!! :)

Thanks. I had to go buy her pants over the weekend, because of the weather. She only had onsies, gowns, crawlers/sleepers, and shorts. No pants! LOL
I was walking around in my nightgown (Summer one) and socks.. my spouse just looked at me and got this smirk on his face. Told him, "Stow it, Florida, I see you're in shorts and calf high black socks.. waiting on a return flight to the Retirement Community in Florida?" That shut him up.

Thanks! I had an epi with Bailey - and I am not COMPLETELY opposed to it, but would prefer to go without it. With Bailey I was so numb I didn't even know when it was time to push - they had to tell me, I coudln't feel anything. It 2 days for me to get the feeling back in my right leg and that really freaked me out - so hoping to for go it (and the catheter that comes with it!) this time :)
