His last dose of Motrin was at 9:30 pm and tylenol was 10:30. At  4:30 he woke up fever free. YAY! He is now in his exersaucer being his bouncy self, trying to go poopy(which he hasn't done since Tuesday. I'm still taking him in this morning at 11:30.  DH says that his mom said when he and his brother were little that they would have days of unexplained high grade fevers and the docs could never figure out why. I do know that DH runs hot. His metabolism is so high he has to eat about 10000 calories per day to maintain his 150 lb weight. wonder if it's connected.

Thanks for all your thoughts. Niko sends huggies!

So glad to hear he is feeling better. Hopefully the "not pooping" doesn't make him miserable and he has a BM soon. Then he will be really happy!

It sounds to me that you may be on to something with DH and his history. I'd ask the doc what he thinks about that. Good Luck at the doc's and hope he continues to be "bouncy" and happy and that fever stays away!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

I'm so glad the fever finally passed and I hope that means you have both caught up on sleep. How are YOU feeling? Does your older son have plans for the summer?

Good luck at the drs today and hugs to you and Niko!

I'll never be caught up on sleep..hehe. I think I'm finally over the hump...I have my moments- but I can not live blinded by grief when I have so many things to be joyful about.

Alex is taking Summer Gym for two sessions this summer. He goes to school from 7:30 to 12:30. It's pretty intense, but it leaves his academic schedule open for things like advanced french, integrated physics/chemistry, and AP world history....yes- I'm bragging on him. That kid has been through hell with all my health issues and his dad's deployments. He went through some really rough times when we weren't sure he was gonna find the light...but he fought his way through it. We are so proud of him.

Hugs back to you,
Angie

10,000 cals a day!  Holy crap.  LOL

Glad Niko is fever free and I hope you didn't have a mega explosion to clean up.

Yeah- aren't those calories ridiculous. He has a 29 inch waist and is 5' 11", but he's cut. He works out everyday and runs 10-15 miles 3 X per week. He just maxed his AFPT(fitness test)last week, but he maxed it for the 17-20 age group...not bad for a 36 year old.

Nope, no explosion...but I wouldn't be shocked to get one later.
