L& D trip today

I went to L&D early this afternoon - was having contractions about 8 minutes apart. When I got there they had died down so they sent me walking around the hospital for about 30 minutes. They really picked up, were 2-4 minutes apart and pretty painful. The problem?? My freaking cervix isn't cooperating. It is still at a 3-4cm 50% effaced and not budging. So they sent me home. DAMN IT! I walked the mall for 2 hours - they were still coming close, and pretty painful in my lower back and pelvis, but then I went to have a pedicure and they have died way down. I get them here and there, but no pattern and not near as painful as they were earlier.

Sucks. I have no idea what to think. Could it be today? Tomorrow? Next week? Whatever. I am so irritated. I hate my cervix.

I was SO there with Kellen! I used my breast pump, had sex, bounced on the exercise ball like crazy, rode my motor scooter all over the place looking for any bump that I could find to go over. LOL! Good luck...some babies are so stubborn!!

SORRRRY!!!!! I am really worried if I ever get pregnant again that my cervix again won't cooperate. Stinking cervixes.

Well you may remember what worked for me...a hayride through a pumpkin patch...lol
May be hard to find in June though. Try the exercise balls if you have one and have a good heart to heart with that darn cervix. Tell Isabella to cooperate please! LOL

I sure get that frustration! Keep up the walking and all. It will help. Just sucks when our bodies dont work with us!!

LOL...I'm sure you're more than ready for Miss Bella to just make her appearance already. Look at it this way...you had a goal of getting to 37 weeks...now you're two days shy of 38 weeks, so you beat your goal and then some...but you're so close to being 'done' baking, you should see the finish line by now.

Keep walking as much as you can...hopefully that'll speed things up. That's what worked for me w/my DS.
