Fathers Day suggestions

My husband wants a ladder!  So that is what he is going to get.  Not very creative, but I am not feeling especially creative these days so it will work for me.  I love the wooden letters idea, that is great.  Maybe next year......

I have a personalized wooden frame to put a picture of Dylan and Cassidy in for his desk at work.

And I found this idea in a parenting magazine.  Get a rock.  I swiped mine from my mom's landscaping at her house.  Wa**** off and let it dry.  Let your kids paint on it.  Dylan loved this, he kept saying 'I paint wock!'.  He used a few different colors, but I saved the white paint for this: When it dries, use white paint and paint on it 'Daddy, you rock!'.  So cute!  Dylan just did his this morning and I even did one for my FIL and painted  'Grandpa, you rock!' on it.  These are pretty good sized rocks, about the size of my palm. 

We don't have alot of extra money to buy stuff, and I love the homemade stuff.  Cassidy can't do anything this year, being 2 months old.  But that is why he is getting a frame with their pics in it.  Plus, my hubby's birthday is coming up a week after Father's Day and I got him an expensive present for that.

Sadie painted a rock like that at daycare last yr....DH still has it sitting here on his desk.   He absolutely loves it.   I also saw your t-shirt post...I think I'm going to pick up a cheap shirt and make that for DH from Sadie...even if he can only wear it for a few months he'll still love it!   Thanks so much!
