Labs were good a month ago, will get the results of my iron test taken yesterday (routine) by the OB in 2 weeks.  I know it is normal to be tired durning pregnancy but this is getting rediculous.  Any suggestions to combat it?

Count me among the non-human, then! I could sleep 22 hours/day. I'm 12 weeks, waiting impatiently for my 1st trimester to be over and hoping for a little more energy soon...

so there with you! I am almost 10 weeks - this is like torture! I could sleep all day if I didn't have to earn a living! lol I find sipping very cold water helps.... some...

It gets better! I was EXHAUSTED during the first trimester, but perked up a lot between 12 and 14 weeks!
I had low iron later, but that didn't make me really tired, just easily winded/short of breath.

I was more tired first trimester than I am at 39 weeks!  Hang in there, it does get better. I did have to up my vitamins and get B-12 shots every two weeks, instead of once a month.

I feel your pain.   I have been sooooo sleepy .. I'm now 14 weeks and feeling a little better.  I seriously thought I could sleep with my eyes open!   I found taking a 15-20 minute nap on my lunch helped me get through the afternoon.   I don't know if it helps with everyone though.
It has been rough though.   I hope you feel better when you hit the 12 week mark.
