Car Seat
We are starting to look for a new car seat for Aethyn as he is growing out of his infant seat....What do you all use? I was thinking of the Graco Nautilus....anyone have this? Do you like it? Good and bads? Anything else you would recommend instead or that you like better?
Thanks for any info...I just don't know what to get for him! I want him to be safe and comfortable! And I would like him to be able to use it for a long time!
TIA!

We bought The First Years True Fit from BRU because it has the best ratings overall from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. We have not yet used it though, Libby is not yet 17 lbs, but we bought it because we got a great deal.
I also bought a Cosco Scenera from Overstock because I got it for $31.44 a few weeks ago, free shipping, and we needed a car seat for my Moms van and then another one for Russ' truck. (which he has quickly claimed The First Years one since its not pink LOL). We haven't had it in the car but Libby has sat in it and been buckled up in the house. She kept wanting to play with it so I put her in it. She LOVED IT. I probably would not use it for long trips though, it is not very padded.

Correct, it goes from 5lbs to 65lbs and is super soft. I might have to take it out of the box so she can sit in it. I do have a picture of her in the other seat.

Malena,
After looking at the 1st pic I noticed something and wanted to point it out to you.....adjust the straps down one level. They are up to high and that's not proper safety for her to ride in the car like that. They need to be sitting right on her shoulders and snug. Not up by her neck.
I didn't know if she was riding in this seat yet or not but once she does, you'll need to change that to the correct fit.
Not meaning it rude or anything.....I know you're a 1st time mom and just wanted to share a bit of safety advice!
Hugs

Nope, she won't be using this car seat for a while. :-) She wanted to play in it so I adjusted them to that height to see how she fit. I knew they were still not right but she was just so happy to be sitting in there. She isn't even 17lbs yet so she can still fit in her infant carrier for a while, and it is much easier for Russ to use.
