Car Seat
It wasn't fun LOL. My nail lady actually did it while my nails were drying. That is the 2nd time she has painted them. The first time they were pink with white polk-a-dots. Super cute but a pain in the freaking ass!! She doesn't like when people touch her feet so she wouldn't stop kicking. I ended up with purple nail polish all over me!! We won't be doing it again any time soon!

I have 3 Graco Nautilus's and I LOVE LOVELOVE them!!!! I first bought them for my twins (they are almost 5 and weigh 35 and 48lbs) and liked them SO well I bought one for my 19 month old since my 7 month old is starting to get too big for the infant seat. As soon as Abigail is old enough/big enough for a Nautilus I will get her one too. The big kids dont complain about the seats being uncomfortable and Addison even looks comfortable. 3 weeks ago we made a 10 hour car trip for the first time since purchasing them and the kids did great in them. The buckles aren't too difficult to adjust either. When we get home tomorrow I will know how easy/difficult it is to pull the seat apart for washing as one of the twins seats need washing!
One thing to consider is car seats are only good for so many years, so although the Nautilus goes to 100 lbs it may not be the last seat you purchase! For my twins I know it will be, but Addison Iam not so sure.....

Thanks for the info....I think we are going to go to the store and Try a few out. Thanks for the reminder that they have an expiration date! I forgot about that! I know they do last quite a few years....but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. You can use it both rear and forward facing? Aethyn is 8 months and weights about 18 lbs...so he hasn't outgrown his infant seat yet...but its getting close and I am tired of his infant seat...I think he is too!

Hi Rebecca. Thanks for starting this thread. I am interested in what everyone says about the car seats they own and/or have tried. Kayleigh is 7 months and 19 lbs. and I know her infant seat only goes up to 20 lbs. so I'll be looking for something bigger for her pretty soon. Like Aethyn, I think she's getting tired of the infant seat too. Just not near enough room to move and she gets so hot in it sitting in the back seat with no vents.
