I just made an appointment to schedule classes starting this fall. I don't know what I am thinking. I was hoping to begin next year but just called and am going to just start.

I know I need to do this. And it will be so worth it in the long run. I don't know if I am crazy for doing this while Jantzen is so small but we will work it out.

I am scared and excited..........

I been throwing around the idea of starting classes this fall. I am due August 2cd, I feel a bit of anxiety scheduling to start them not knowing what sleep will be like this time around (first time was terrible). So I have been just sitting in limbo with regards to making a decision. But you made a great decision, it will be worth it in the end, thats what I try to tell myself. I know it will be way hard, classes, a 16 month old, a newborn, a NAVY wife and I work full time. Gosh do I want to do that to myself...

On a brighter note - hows Jantzen doing, any sleep for mama at night??

Good luck with classes - everything will balance out (now I need to take my own advice)
Have a good rest of the day!!

Jantzen is great.....he smiles when I kiss him. I kiss him repeatedly and humm, and it tickles his cheeks. And he loves it. He is 7 weeks and really starting to recognize me quickly. And I love it!

He eats about 10-11 at night. Then he is up like clockwork every 3 or so hours to eat again. So no solid sleep, but hell, I don't even know what that is any more. When I do finally sleep all night, I will probably want to sleep 12-14 hours! LOL.

go for it.

I have a 2 year old and a 4 year old and finished my second full time quarter today.

I'm signed up for 5 classes this fall and I'm due the week after classes end.  I'm goingo to carry 2 classes for winter and spring quarter as well.  might even do some for summer.

good luck!

I am going for my RN. Bachelor's for now, master's later. I can't go full time. Not financially possible. Besides, if I go while I work, my employers will 100% finance my schooling. So it makes sense to go part time.

I will take as many online classes as I can too. Plus I can work on school work in between patients. People here do it all the time, and our manager doesn't care as long as the patients are taken care of.

So we will see how it goes.

I think it's great! There will always be a reason to wait or not to do it so the only way to do it is to just go for it like you're doing!

I think you're making a great decision. School is NEVER easy - even when you're 18, new out of high school, and no kids. I must say I'm completely thankful that I finished my masters before finding out that I was pregnant. But I do know that it always takes a lot of work but as long as you're a good multi-tasker and can manage your time well, you'll be golden. Not to mention getting as much done online as you can is a HUGE plus. Those 3 hour intervals during the day will come in handy for you!

Good luck - I know you won't need it - you'll be amazing!
