Annoyed that friends dont like my name i picked
I agree with everyone else. It's your kid, you get to name them. This is the EXACT reason why NO ONE knew the names we had chosen for our 2 kids until after we knew the sex. Then we told people, and that was the end of it.
Everyone has an opinion, but they are being jerks if they are sharing negative ones. They should just shut up about it.
Braydon James is a nice name. :o)

First, nothing is wrong with the name you picked, people are just rude... Family worse because they think they have an excuse to not be nice...
Regarding names, I have several picked out if we can just get pregnant, but I'm not telling family or friends what we decide, or even like until the big event :)
For laughs:
Jayce (it's after my husband's & my favorite cartoon - yes, we're old)...
Gabriel
Perry (family name)
Just have this intuition it may be a boy :) Oh, and we officially start trying this coming week (on vacation).
So, wish us some luck - I'm scared and excited rolled together!

If you're like me, the round ligament pain doesn't go away. Sorry!
About the name, this was one of my most frustrating things in pregnancy. I absolutely H-A-T-E-D dealing with people and their dang opinions about the name I picked for M-Y child. I am still annoyed and my baby is 6 months old. I need to get over it, but seriously I think that is one of the rudest things a person can do is say anything negative about the name you picked. This is one of my pet peeves. I am SO sorry people are doing that to you. If I can make a suggestion, let them know that the baby will be named Braydon (which I think is a beautiful and great name by the way) and they can shove their opinions up their behinds. Don't listen to them. They suck.

Screw 'em all. I love the name :-) And, it really only matters if you and your BF like it. It will grow on everyone else.

Braydon is not even super unusual? I think it's nice. We are TTC now and we know if we have a girl her name is going to be Ivea (pronounced like Ivy). My sister makes fun of it all the time, but who cares, it's YOUR son
