Ok so I am truly losing it! Saying bizarre things, forgetting ALOT and totally losing my train of thought all the time! So here I am full fledged pregnancy brain!
Like the biggest one is that I thought i was 27 weeks and I am almost 29 where the heck did a week go???It's really bugging me because how did I lose a whole week? I have checked every calendar in the house and my ticker on here and they all say the same thing! hmmmm can you say brain fart!

This one my kids think is too funny,  I was asking my older daughter to help with some chairs and I wanted her to go and get them from the garage but instead said
"can you go and get the chairs out of the dryer"

Where does that come from??
I also put the peanut butter in the fridge and the jelly in the pantry!

the biggest one is that I will get up to go and do something and completely forget where I was going and why I was going there!

Anyone else here with me??

I hear ya!

A few weeks ago at the OB I was in the bathroom doing the routine pee-in-a-cup.  I got my little plastic cup, wrote my name on it and  set it on the counter accross the room.

I then proceeded to go to the toilet, sit down  and start to pee (I really had to go!) before realizing THE CUP WAS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROOM.

OOOPs!!!

I tried really hard to clench it in and crossed my legs and scooted to the other side of the room to grab the cup (dripping all the way).

I managed to save enough and get it in the cup for them to do the test-strip .... and I wiped up the floor for them too!

DUH.

I'm with you Beth...having had total pregnancy brain for months. It's so ironic, since I can't stand flighty-type people...seriously, I have issues with them. Prior to becoming pregnant I was alert, detail-oriented, and "with it." Now, I'm "without it," that's for sure...

This morning I was getting a decaf coffee and it was $2.05. I got two $1 bills out and then I opened my change compartment...there were alls sorts of coins and I couldn't figure out which one was worth 5 cents. All I can say is that I'm so grateful I don't work in finances or banking. My pregnancy brain is most evident when dealing with money, typing (my typos are horrible as well as plentiful), and trying to compose sentences that are coherent (to others). I got a new phone in late May...and normally I jump on new techy things....yeah, still trying NOT to accidentally prank my contacts listed in the phone.

I find my pregnancy brain is getting worse as the pregnancy progresses. To be honest, I'm finding it hilarious, but a little scarey too. Soon I expect to be drooling on myself...

You know what's sad?? I have been like this since I had my RNY, I don't need to be pregnant, it just gets worse when I am. I'm very entertaining for the whole family. I always wonder what the people at work think, they don't know about my bypass. I got pregnant a month after I started this job so after I have the baby they will probably wonder why I'm still stupid...lol!

SO there!! I am just under 10 weeks and I am a project manager - well detail oriented is the name of the game. I go through more note paper then the rest of the company probably does in a year! lol My boss is used to me being sharp as a tack - and I usually am - but man alive there are times when it is BAD!!!

Oh I have done the PB in the fridge and jelly in the cabinet too!

I keep telling everyone that the baby isn't making it's own brain it's sucking out mine! lol

I had a horrible one I was made aware of today... I was invited to a wedding of a friend and a graduation party for my cousin on the same day... I forgot about the party and accepted the invite to the wedding - I had to send a note apologizing deeply but sending my regrets for the wedding (too much family drama if I made the other choice!)

I know what you mean!

LOL I put crystal light on my cereal the other morning! Was not paying attention, turned around and grabbed the pitcher instead of the milk and the rest is history. My kids thought it was the funniest thing ever.
