Monday Weigh day
After a one pound gain last week that brought me from 199.1 to 200.2, this morning I weighed 197.1! Hopefully it sticks and I continue to go down and not go up and down like that. I love only weighing once a week because I don't want to see the scale ever go up.
I missed one day of walking this week but my total for the 6 days was just over 15 miles. I didn't do the Wii Fit once. I swear the Wii Fit is making me gain LOL. It seems on weeks I do the Wii Fit more, I either gain or don't lose as much.
So how are you all doing?

I just started "Wii Fitting" and I swear if it makes me gain, I will bust it into pieces! LOL. I still have 14-16 pounds to get rid of. I got off track since starting my depression meds but am going to work on getting back on track. I plan to weigh only once per week too. Otherwise, I will make myself crazy!
I am so happy to see you are under 200. I missed a few weeks of your updates, but CONGRATS!!!!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!
I was under 200 and the next week back up to 200. Now that it is 197, I am sure it won't bounce back up 3 whole pounds so I feel like I am in the 100's to stay.
I will do the Wii Fit every day this week for 30 minutes and we will see what happens. I didn't miss a day for over 80 days and lost pretty good during that time.
Good luck this week. Sorry you are back to work.

Jennifer,
That is AWESOME!!! I can't wait until I can get below the 200 mark. It will take some time, however, I am going to get there. I refuse to buy BIGGER clothes. That is why I had this surgery. I am going to try and only weigh myself once a week as well. I could drive myself crazy if I weighed every day. :)

I have tried all different things with the scale and find that once a week is perfect. When I get on it more often, I always have a slight gain that gets me so depressed. I also jumped on a very old digital at my MIL's house and it had me up 8 pounds. I then made all my kids get on it and they were all up 6 pounds on it, even Riley who only weighs 24. I know now to only use my scale and to stick with Mondays.
The weight will come off of you! I am amazed at how much all the little numbers add up. If a person loses 2 pounds a week, that is 104 pounds in one year. Ultimately that is my goal. I started on February 9th at 240 and hopefully by my 41st birthday on March 3rd, 2010 I will be 130. 67 pounds to go!

You were right, that one pound left and took a couple more with it! Way to go (or "weigh" to go if I want to be cheesy - lol)! You have done so well; I am thrilled for you. You'll be so thin come Labor Day 2010, I won't be able to find you - LOL.
Anyway, I am pretty pleased with the scale this week; however, I do get leary when it shows good numbers. I like to see them stick around for at least 3-4 days before I actually trust that they are real, but in any case, I will report them. I weighed in at 159.4! I usually weigh in the morning, but only after that "dead weight" feeling is gone, like when I just roll out of bed and am stiff, etc. So, that is a loss of 4.2 pounds. I did actually manage to cut my calories from 1700 to 1600, so that may have helped. Weight loss seems to go in spurts for me. I will gain a pound, lose a pound, stay the same, etc. for like 3 weeks, and then I will drop a pretty good number.
I am still lacking in the exercise department, but I did walk around the courtyard 26 times to equal roughly 2 miles. I was perfectly fine with that, but Charlotte got bored, I think, so I haven't done that since. It's just me, but I'd rather not go too far from home and have to contend with traffic. I will continue to try and improve with the exercise, though.
Have a great week, everyone!

Great job this week!!! I think you would enjoy walking more without Charlotte. As much as I DO enjoy walking with the kids, I do so much better without them. Plus, I drive to a paved area to walk and then I have to load them and unload them and the Burley.
My teens are gone for the summer so that leaves Paul to watch them while I walk but then I have to wait for him to wake up and do all his stuff.
Good luck this week!
