Hey I am 12 week today with my miracle twins.. I am only 6 months out from surgery and still loosing weight on a constant rate.. Down 22 pounds since becoming pregnant and 100 pounds total. I also have to get my gall bladder out in two weeks.  I was wondering if any one else has had issues with gaining weight during pregnancy and their gall bladder out During the time they were pregnant too.??? Also at what point did you start feeling your nipples start to really change??  They are always hard and have moisture on them all the time..   Is this normal?

I was opposite!  I got pregnant 4 months post-op and gained 50 lbs with my pregnancy!  My boobs started hurting the MOMENT of conception and never stopped the entire pregnancy but I never had any moisture on them.  I didn't produce enough milk even after he was born.

This time it's a little different since it's twins.  I have already gained the same amt at 14 weeks that I gained at 20 weeks with Kellen.  My boobs feel like they are going to burst at any moment but it took weeks for them to get that way.  And still, no moisture.

Good luck!  I think that many gals here lost weight while pregnant...I just wasn't one of them.

No advice...but wanted to say good luck w/the gall bladder surgery.  I didn't know they could/would do it while you were pg.

I got pregnant with my twins at about 14 months out from surgery, I lost about 5 pounds in the beginning because of horrible morning sickness, after that I didn't start gaining any weight until around 5 months pregnant.  I ended up gaining a total of 40 pounds by the time they were born. they weighed 5 lb, 7 oz and 5 lb 9 oz. so they were healthy.  Congrats on your pregnancy!

Congrats on your pregnancy...As far as the boob issue..I can say that mine my first pregnancy my nipples hurt like someone would lite them on fire...it was horrible..but I noticed early on, they seemed damp.  This time they don't burn (at least yet- hoping it stays that way)...but they seem damp / moist again...when you look at them, nothing really noticable- maybe a little glisten arount it, and the rest of the breast is dry.  So I know it's not sweat, I've become a sweater this pregnancy.  It's not "milk" because I know what that is from my DD pregnancy..I don't know what it is..but I have it and it seems to cause no issues or problems.  If you get an answer to why or what, let me know.

I have heard of others getting their gallbladders out while pregnant.  One woman I read about had it done with an epidural (at 8  months along) in case it threw her into early labor they'd just do a c-section.  It didn't though.... she kept the baby full term.

I don't know specifics of how your gallbladder surgery will differ (pain management, etc) from one done when you're not pregnant.  I hope it all goes well for you !!!

My boobs hurt worst in the 1st trimester but started up again in the 3rd.  I get some wetness (very little) and see dried white flakes.... I guess that is milk?  I dunno....

I've had breast reconstruction and just hope I will be able to nurse!

My nipples changed RIGHT AWAY getting darker and bigger and puffy.

This is kind of weird to talk about but I noticed a difference in my nipples a few weeks after I realized I was pregnant. I always had pretty small ones and never had the problem of them being hard when they shouldn't be but now they always are and they are much bigger. It's pretty annoying! They also hurt like hell!! I wouldn't say they are ever wet or damp but they are very hot. lol!
