Puking in public and other preggo fun!

OK, I'm not complaining (mostly 'cause I got it out of my system with DH), but on Friday night we went out to eat. I had a tiny cup of tortilla soup, one of my staples since surgery. We went into Target for a few things after, and I started to feel a little queasy. I almost made it to my car, but actually started getting sick in the middle of the crosswalk. A car had to stop for me. And then I finished in the parking lot, DH trying to hold my short hair out of my face while a group of teenagers were sitting about 10ft away. Fortunately, I think they were distracted by their cell phones at the time...

Don't think I want more of that soup right now, though DH blames it on the fries I stole from DD rather than the soup. (He's probably right, but don't anybody tell him, K?)

But currently I'm completely obsessed with strawberries. I probably eat almost 2lbs/day. Mmmm... And the occasional jumbo marshmallow. Weird.

Sounds weird, but this is something you'll get used to! LoL I was so sick with both of my pregnancies that barfing in public just became the norm. My husband could just look at me and tell when I was going to do and and automatically start pulling the car over LoL. I eventually started figuring out how to do it less conspicuously, mostly hiding behind the open door of my SUV LoL. One of the not so pleasant joys of pregnancy for some!

I was totally used to it with DD - I couldn't stay anywhere more than 15 minutes without throwing up... on something! But this time, I haven't had to much...

Oh so been there!!! I carry a plastic bag (like the ones they pack your groceries in) in my purse along with a handful of tissues oh and a bottle of water in my car if not in my bag. Oh and gum! lol

You are so not alone - but it is embarassing!!

I wonder how Limited Too would feel if they knew I favor their small, thick, sturdy bags for puking into...

Now this is just the most fun part of being pregnant!!! :) SO FUNNY!! At least lots of people have the same thing in common.

ok so I have a funny story to add to this subject.

Cinco De Mayo... I went with my son and my mom to a mexican cantina... where EVERYBODY was drinking the celebratory Margaritas....  after I ate... I went to the bathroom and puked it all up... well of course it was a "more than one stall" kinda deal... some chick asked through the stall door if I "needed some water or something and said she was sorry I drank too much and did I need a cab home."   LOL....   That was SO SO embarressing that someone thought I drank SO much that I didnt even make it home without throwing up.... HEHE

If the pukage continues like this, add a B1 supplement to your regimen.

RNY patients that puke quite a bit will deplete their stores VERY quickly and this is not a good thing.

I always keep several Walmart/Grocery plastic sacks in my truck,............in the side door. You just never know what will not agree!
