Hi Lovely Ladies........

Well it's been quite some time since I have posted. I lurked here and there but haven't been online too much.  Thanks to all those you wondered about me, checked on me and asked about me. I appreciate it.

The meds I am taking for PPD are helping tremendously. I feel so much better. Maybe not 100% but much better. And I am so glad. The last few weeks I have been trying to spend as much time with family as possible. I was trying to make the most of my maternity leave.

Today has me back to work. I cried while feeding Jantzen this morning. He was just staring at me and it broke my heart to put him in that car seat and know I was dropping him off for the day.

Hopefully each day will get better. I wasn't this sad about going back to work with other babies. I was sad, but this time it is different. I really feel like Jantzen HAS to have me care for him. And no one else. I need to get over that. But boy, if I could stay home and not work, I would in a heartbeat.

Congrats to all the new mommies that I missed and any new BFP's I missed. I will try to catch up with those I haven't touched base with on FB.

And as always, thanks to everyone for this great forum.

PS, the losing weight part isn't going so well, LOL. But I am working on it. Is there still an accountability thread going on???? I will need it! LOL

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Hey Girl!!! So glad to see you back on here! Glad you are feeling better and so sorry you are having to work. My husband and I went around and around about me staying at home and I finally just said ok, "I want to stay at home and raise our child" and he said ok, went out the next week or two and got a second job and is comitted to me being at home...it is scary but i know we can do it with some sacrifice...I just cannot imagine going back to work...but I am not making this any better for you sorry :(

Have a good day and I am so happy you are posting again!!

we've missed you! Glad that you are doing better with the meds. SO glad too that you have been enjoying the time with your family before you had to come back to work. I know it must be hard - I can't imagine having to do it - I'll be facing it before I know it.

Welcome back!

Hi JoJo!
Glad to hear things are going well and that you're feeling better.   We've all missed you! :)
It is so hard to go back to work.  I still struggle and have my moments of feeling like a failure and my son is 2 years old.      My mom reminds me often that many , many parents do it and that my baby is well taken care of and that I'm providing a great future for him.  :)    In todays economy I just think it's so hard to stay home.  My husband also reminds me that we are saving for the future and for our retirement. :)
Hope today goes by super fast for you and I"m sure it will get easier as the week goes on.
Take care,
Suzy

I am glad to see your post, and understand your sadness.  I sufferred mildly with PPD and going back to work was horrible.  My sister just went back today too.  Thinking of you and hoping this transition goes smooth.

Hello and welcome back!

By now you are more than halfway through your day and I truly hope it has gone quickly for you!

Glad the PPD is improved. How long did it take for the meds to kick in?

I cried so much the first week of bringing Ethan to daycare that I was physically ill. It got a little better, but I really understand how your heart aches. Just sending you big hugs!

It's not easier......and every time I call to check on him, I get no answer. Then EVERY time I am with a patient, I hear the phone ringing.......and I know it's her trying to call back. LOL

Johnny did get ahold of her earlier and Riley is wearing herself out playing outside, and Jantzen was doing just fine.

Of course he is, But mommy isn't! I have been searching for part time jobs in between patients! ha ha ha! Doubt if I would take that step but I am looking into it!

It took about  weeks till I felt better. Maybe a week and a half till I felt really good. I am not sure if all meds are the same or not.......I am taking Wellbutrin.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!
