A little scare today at the OB...
Went in for my weekly NST and they couldn't get the baby on the monitor! I had 4 people - including 2 midwives and the doctor trying to get my baby to cooperate.
Finally the doc got his heartbeat, but the baseline number was low (110 when the doc likes to see between 120-130). Just to be safe he sent me to L&D to be monitored for longer. He also said if the heartbeat was still low they'd do an ultra-sound to check fluid levels.
At L&D they found the baby right away (probably because my adreline was running and blood pressure was up from being so worried!). The baby's baseline stayed around 120 for an hour and his heart spiked when he moved around.
So they sent me home... I have to call and schedule a follow-up with my OB tomorrow morning to find out "next steps". I figured at this appointment today I'd get a pelvic exam, find out how long we wait until we talk induction, etc..... but the appointment never really got started!
I think after tonight I am ready to have this baby!

Sounds like you have a stubborn little guy like my Zander was.... I'm glad that everything is ok though... You don't have long to go now and I bet you are getting so excited to meet your little one...
Not sure if you said or not, but do you have a name picked out?
I will be lookin' forward to hearing all about your little guy and seeing his pics too... Hang in there hon... It won't be much longer (although to you it probably feels like an eternity)... :-)
