D&C this morning.

My OB was totally supportive of this decision.  I don't have a huge window left to give this another shot, and I couldn't bear waiting for the miscarriage to happen.  After Kelly's experience, I didn't want to go the drug route either.

So I'm home now, a little drugged up and sleepy, but otherwise ok.  I got my crying out, the kids cried, my husband cried, and now we are focusing on the future.  In the interim, I'm going to do a few things I had on my list before the surprise pregnancy - including a small tattoo that was supposed to be for my 40th birthday :)

Thanks, really, for the outpouring of support.  I'm not really good with receiving sympathy - so let me just say thanks - please don't feel the need to say anything else now, k?

Again, wishing you all health pregs and babies.

I am glad to hear that they did the D & C for you.  I understand that everyone's experience with the pills are different but it was pretty miserable for me and I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

Take care and just know that it's ok to be hormonal and angry at the situation.  They are your emotions and it's ok to let yourself feel them.

Best of luck to you and your family.  Funny thing about the tattoo is I now want to get a piercing in an unusual spot and that was never me before.  Hormones???

We're all happy you're here to lend and receive support as needed.  When/if you need anything...say the word.

I too want to see the tattoo.  What are you getting and where?

Though I'm a little older than you...I'm glad to see there's another AMA mom out there!

I'm glad you did what you felt was best.  Just for the record, any message/posting I gave was not intended to be sympathy...just support and love.  Take care.
