Ultrasound photos & Breech baby.
We had our 3/4D Ultrasound on Tuesday evening. It was a great experience for our family to see. Turned out very cute. She has my little flat nose and round chunky cheeks..........just like my 9 yr old son also. She is still breech,.....frank breech with her feet over her head.......looks so uncomfortable. The cord is floating around in front of her chin/lips..not around her neck just in the way enough where we could not see her chin, lol
My question is at this point...........will she turn? I know people say she has a few weeks to decide. I have a OB appt. next Wednesday and plan on discussing my concerns then.
Thank you all!

I'm 31 weeks as well and my lil mister is also breech (footling breech though, not frank.) My OB said he's not worried because he still has plenty of time to rotate on his own. He said that if he is still breech at my next appointment (on the 15th) that he will then try to turn him himself and if that doesn't work then we will discuss the options ahead. So I would say that she still has plenty of time. A co-worker of mine told me that when she was 30 weeks, her baby was breech and her doctor told her to every night, go on all fours on your bed and rock back and forth for about 5-10 minutes. Supposively this helps in turning the baby. No scientific proof, but I've been doing it - can't hurt right?
I can't see the pictures because I'm at work, but I'm sure she is precious - as I have never seen a baby I didn't think was precious. You're so lucky you got a 3D done - no one around me will do them unless they think there is going to be a birth defect or there is some other issue.

I looked at a few things online as well.."Techniques" to get the baby to move. Like you had said the rocking, laying upside down, headstands in a pool, and one even stated to put headphones down your pants,..lmao . I thought that was just sooo funny. I am going to stick a Sony Walkman on my vagina! LMAO!!!
I watched a special on tv where they "Tried" to turn they baby from the outside........and honestly i dont think i can go for that. The lady was moaning and crying and it looked like nothing i wanted a part of, lol. The baby did finally turn , and then when it was time to deliver the baby was breech again. Just looke painful and scary to me, lol.....Dont know if i will have a choice in that matter though.
The 3D was totally FREE. Free for my Docotrs patients only if you go to the hospital he is out of. I was happy to see anything i could. I was shocked every where i checked into wanted $150-$250, etc...

My sister had a breech baby at 34 week point...they told that they wanted to turn the baby the next appointment..she told them no...it wasn't worth the risk (cord entaglement, etc)..she researched the internet and found stretches / exercises to encourge to baby to rotate..it worked...she wasn't breech..but she did end up transverse (sideways) on delivery day (she had stopped doing the exercises knowing she was head down). Good luck, hope your little ones flips around to be comfie soon.
