Hi Everyone!
I need to get started on my vitamins but I have mixed feelings on what vitamins I should take and the doctor doesn't seem to concerned so long as I have some kind.  I'd like to know who's taking what, Prenatal or Bariatric and why you chose that.  I'm leaning toward my Optisource bariatric vitamins.

Thanks in advance!

I've pretty much stayed pregnant since 5 months after my RNY.  I take regular old prenatal vitamins from Wal-Mart.  I take 2 multi vitamins and 1 sub. b-12 and both my babies are fine!

Best wishes!

Last July when I talked to my OB about getting pregnant she told me to continue to take my Optisource vitamins and she would do some blood work to check my levels and we could suppliment anything that i might be missing on an ass needed basis.  So I am taking those right now, I will go in for some more blood work next week and then hopefully to see her soon and we can make sure everythings on track...

Prenatals will have more folic acid which is really important. Beyond that, I haven't seen much difference between prenatals and regular one a days.
