Quick Ovulation Question
So do I ovulate the day of the temperature dip, or is it during the time of the temperature rise after the dip? Fertility Friend has me completely confused. The past 2 cycles I've had my temperature dip on CD15, however FF puts the crosshairs about 3 days after (once my temperature has gradually risen). I'm currently on CD12 today and am just curious. I've been off BC for about 3 months now (using alternate forms of BC since) and this is the first month we're officialy "trying". I'm hoping this is my weekend! Thanks for any input you ladies can give. Have a wonderful day!

Some people get a temp dip at ovulation, others do not. It is the temperature rise that marks when ovulation happened - the day before a sustained temperature rise. If you are lucky enough to have a regular dip right before that its just an added bonus in helping you to predict that you are about to ovulate. Good luck :)
Sometimes it takes ff a few months to get a good handle on your pattern. Some women also do have a dip and/or a slow rise after o. If you want to give me the link to your charts I can check it out. Either way, it sounds like you know when you ovulate and you can be sure to have the bd covered. Are you familiar with cervical mucus? If not do a search on ff and start learning about your bodies signs. A lot of women have an egg white stretchy type discharge when they are most fertile too. And opk's....but it doesn't seem like you will need them if you are that regular. Good luck. Shari
