Hello,

If you are not getting enough protein your hair will fall out. You already mal-absorb and now that you are preganat the baby is taking what it needs so you really are not getting what you need. As far as the feeling of passing out I would go get checked out if I were you....no need to take any chances. Good luck.

Make sure you are not dehydrated and get your protein in...

I passed out a lot my last pregnancy, the worst it when it happened in public places, WHICH IT DID! I hit the floor in the grocery store and also in the middle of a very large birthday party at an event hall. Eventually I learned the read the signs of when it was going to happen and figured out how to stop myself from completely going out, as soon as I felt it coming, I sat down, didn't matter where I was, I just sat down, middle of the product isle once LoL. I also carry glucose tablets in my purse and pop one of those once I hit the floor as well, that usually brought me back out of it.

Both my OB, my primary care, and my surgeon did labs and tried to work it out, and it turned out to just be a pregnancy symptom. They almost took my license away from me until I learned how to get it under control, it was scary. They said that in some people, this symptom is just more pronounced and I happened to be lucky enough to have it.

Good luck, and I hope you can get a handle on yours!

I have the same feeling every time i stand up. I'm also losing weight after over 8 months of being stable so i'm totally attributing it to the pregnancy. My hair is also falling out.

I don;t know if this is normal or healthy but I just wanted to let you know you're not alone.

From what I understand this is within normal ranges of what a woman experiences in pregnancy.  Wouldn't hurt to call your OB though.  Hugs.. I did feel this way from time to time.  It was often a dehydration issue for me.....but not always.  Pregnancy increases your blood supply and does all kinds of crazy things.
