Monday weigh in
Man this is disappointing. Last Monday I was 199.1 and today I am 200.2. I have increased my walking to 2.5 miles a day and even did about 2 hours of Wii this week, all aerobic, a lot of jogging in place. I did kind of suspect it would be the same but a one pound gain that puts me back in the 200's is really sad.
I know that I did not eat enough calories for this to be a real pound. I am not going to worry about it and hopefully next Monday it will be gone and take a few friends with it.
So is anyone ready to weigh today? I hope you have a great week and that you can make some postive changes in your diet and exercising.

I'm here to weigh in - 163.6. That is a loss of 3.2 pounds, but unfortunately, I'm pretty sure it was just the excess water that I was carrying around last week. Oh well... I'm not going to sweat it - just keep doing what I've been doing. I'm just very eager to get into the 150s, but it could take awhile; I know it seemed to take forever to get into the 160s!
I still need to exercise more; I admit it, I've been a bit lazy in that area. I could be going for more walks with Charlotte. I almost get resentful towards Joe because he is always "bragging" to me about how far he ran on any given day, and I am jealous because he can just go do it whenever he wants (work permitting, of course). But I think that is also part of my excuse... "well, if I can't run, I'm not going to do anything else either."
I am maybe going to try and decrease my calories slightly - maybe just by about 100 per day to start with (so 1600 instead of 1700) - just for a jump start. Not today, though - LOL.
I'm sure that pound will come off and take more with it! You are doing such a great job!

Congratulations!!! That is great that you lost so much so fast. Don't ever get into the mentality that if you can't do running that you won't do anything. Sometimes I do that about walking. I think I don't have enough time but 15 minutes is a mile and if that is all I can do it has to be enough. Most of the time I get out there and the miles go by so fast.
A 100 calorie deduction in your diet is 10 pounds a year. Isn't that amazing?

Hi Jennifer!!!
Great to hear from you. I am sorry the scale was a biatch this morning. I'm sure it is jus****er though. I actually have good news. (can you believe that one?) lol! I weighed 91.2 pounds in the doctor's office on Friday. I have been on TPN for a little over a week, so that is quite a good gain up from 83 pounds in a week and a half. I am starting to feel alive again...and it is great! I took my back pack of TPN and jumped on the back of DH's harley this weekend, and we went out to dinner twice with friends. HUGE difference in my life from 2 weeks ago. I just hope when they stop the TPN I do not immediately lose the weight I have gained. I think I will be on the TPN until I hit 110...so at this rate, that should not be too terribly long...maybe a month or two at the most.
Take care and know I think of you often!

WOW that is great that you gained and feel so much better. Is there a way you can do TPN only on the weekends after you hit 110? That way you won't lose too much too fast.
I was upset about my weight this morning. I had to use my mantra. This is not a race. The weight will come off eventually. I am not starving and I am getting healthy.
Thanks for checking in. I am posting only on Monday's now! Are you on Facebook?

Well- I weighed in at 274 this morning. down from 278 last Monday..... Which i'm not really believing it.
One day at a time- I have felt horrible all day long. My entire body aches so i'll be skipping the gym today... I had planned on starting a daily routine but i've spent the entire day laying on a heating pad.
If this is getting old.......I'd rather not! :)

I had planned to do this yesterday, but then yesterday escaped me. Long story.
My weigh in was 260!!! That is a scary number to me. My goal is 225. I will be happy hanging out around 235 though.
I intend to cut the calories, increase my H2O and start walking, we will see how that helps for this first week!

Don't beat yourself up over a pound...you're still doing the work to get it down...and we all know our weight fluctuates throughout the month. Just keep plugging away...and soon you'll be down below 190...then 180...etc. etc.
