Calorie Intake?

Hi Ladies,
I gave birth to my little man on April 26th. (Just updated pics in my album), anyways, I need to lose these last 5ish lbs, but more importantly, I need to get back on the "eating right train.' Can someone please remind me of how much to eat. I was eating about 1200 calories before I got pregnant, but I don't remember the total number of carbs, fat, etc that i'm supposed to eat. Thanks for your help!

Hi!

Nice to see you posting again. I don't have any answers, but I've been wondering the same thing. And are we supposed to add more calories, water, etc when upping our exercise?

Congratulations on losing all but 5 lbs. That's awesome!

How are the boys? Anthony must love the new car. Our DS was crazy about vehicles when he was that age.

I would call your WLS doc/nut and ask them... also keep a food journal to keep track of everything...

but every doc sets up different goals... so my set of numbers might not work for you and vs.... so call them...

ok, so this is what i found in my gastric bypass folder that is provided to all Kaiser bypass patients...just in case anyone else is interested. :-)

Daily intake:
Calories: 1000-1200
Protein: 70-80 grams per day: from low fat animal sources
Carbs: 100 grams per day: from fruits and veggies
Fat: Limit to 30 per day: choose more mono and polyunsaturated fats
Fluids: 64 ounces per day minimum: drink between meals
