Thanks.  I think that is the brand of sippy cups that my son loved, can't remember but it sounds familiar.

I agree about the playtex vent aire bottles but the only downside is they have like 5 or 6 parts to wash---kind of a pain to clean.  I use the Avent bottles, which I like because I got a good deal on a set.  It had about 8 bottles, a bottle brush, and a bottle warmer.  I adore the warmer---it is such a lifesaver and heats the bottles SO quickly.  The Avent are made to help switch between bottle and boob.....supposedly.......but I never did get the BF thing to work (I pumped for a few months though).....anyway....I love my Avents and will never switch at this point.  I don't have any problems with gassiness.  Sophie always burps one time after a bottle and then she's fine.

That is the brand we used with my son.  I have tons of them but they are the old BPA ones.  I never had a problem with them and may just go back to those again but get the new ones.
I tried so many different bottle warmers and never did find one that I liked, I don't think I tried the Avent one though.
Thank you!

I agree with the poster above regarding the BPA scare. I'm alive and well and haven't experienced any ill-effects from any supposed "toxic" substance from the bottles my parents used when I was a baby. Personally, I think it's just something else the manufacturers, etc. are putting out there to scare people into paying more for their products.

On another note, I recommend buying at least 3 different types of bottles because you never know what your baby is going to prefer. We tried Dr. Brown's, Avent & Nuk and settled on Avent. You definitely need to figure out the baby's preference quickly or he/she will have nipple confusion a won't want to eat.

Thanks Tricia.  Yep, my son seems fine and I probably did most things wrong and just didn't know it at the time!  Buying a few different ones makes sense, I didn't even really think of that, preggo brain is messing with me big time!
Love your new picture, so cute!!

We used Dr Brown (5 oz glass when he was little and 8-oz BPA-free plastic wide mouth now that he's older).  They were highly recommended for breastfed babies and also those with acid reflux.  More parts and a bit of cleaning before loading them in the dishwasher but worth it.
