Question on back "labor"....
I always seem to get BH contractions at night.... (late evening into around 4am). Or maybe that's just when I notice them?
Well this last week I thought I pulled a muscle / slept odd because my middle back (slightly below the area between my shoulder blades) has been having spasms.
I realized the other day I ONLY get these spasms at night time..... in the morning all is well no matter which way I twist or turn no problems.
So I am wondering if this middle back spasm could be BH contraction related ? Or just a coincidence?
Thanks in advance!
Cindy

Hi Cindy,
I do not remember this happening to me last time. I had horrible, long back labour in labour though.
Anyway, I remember past posts of yours on leg cramps and RLS syndrome and was wondering whether these could be related. Might just be that you are experiencing these in your back now, as well. I say "just" but I'm sure they are painful and annoying.
At least you're close to the big day and then those things will be back to normal. I'll be hoping for an incident-free night for you tonight. Unless the incident is an early and healthy birth!
Take care,
Alison

Thanks, Alison.
You're right....maybe it's muscular and related to the RLS and cramping (leg cramps).
It's not so horrible I can't sleep.... I was just curious if it was a sign of labor of some sort.
I appreciate your thoughts!
