I need beverage ideas!
It's finally warm enough for me to be enjoying ice water again, but I'm having a hard time staying hydrated enough. (I live in Colorado, which doesn't help!) I don't do soda and I hate Crystal Light, Kool-Aid, that kind of stuff... I do some iced herbal teas, but I'm looking for other ideas. What do you drink when water just won't cut it?
I have ABSOLUTELY fallen in love with loose leaf tea -- which is great hot or iced. I like it cause it's very individual.. make it as strong as YOU like it, plus it's mixable. I quite like a mate tea mixed with lemongrass and an herbal tea that I get.. There's really no end as to what combos there are.
I'm fond of teavana.com (raspberry sangria is my all-time favorite), enjoyingtea.com, and specialteas.com.
Also, a note -- rooibos teas have no caffeine (technically, they aren't a tea as much as an herbal infusion), have a TON of vitamins and minerals, and are considered an ideal beverage for pregnant women and children. Kaitlin and Daniel both like some of the rooibos I've purchased.. and some of them are "dessert" teas for when you want something a bit extra without pulling out the gallon of ice cream to chow down on.
