protien powder and sweetner
Personally I think the stevia is better for you than the splenda anyday. I don't think it's a real problem since I see preggers people drinking diet drinks all the time.
I wouldn't think the protein powder would be a bad thing unless I am missing something.

Aspartame is the evil stepchild in the artifical sweetner category these days.. with saccharin (sp) not far behind. I was told to avoid blue as much as possible while preggers, limit pink, and use yellow any time I could. At the time, stevia in it's many forms wasn't as available, so I don't know what the OB would have said about that.
As for protein powder -- yes, they are generally considered safe. Most use a different form of sweetner that's used in food but not readily available for home use and is considered safe during pregnancy. I drank protein drinks when I could while pregnant with both kids to keep concious.
