VSG & baby

Interested in people who had the sleeve and had a baby afterwards. Wondering about the weight gain and if you were able to lose the weight.

Not sure of the answer but I just found out that I am pregers and I am 11 months post-op. I hope more VSGers chime in. I have so many questions and very little resources.

i had the VSG in october 2007..i got pregnant a year after surgery..i had lost 100 lbs..before surgery i had infertility, PCOS and an IUI to get my first son...i still have PCOS i think but this time i got pregnant right when getting off the pill (praise God!)... but here is the bad news..i have eaten like a pig..gone back to eating bad things, terrible choices and i have gained nearly 30 lbs and STILL HAVE SIX WEEKS TO GO..i am scared...you have to graze when pregnant but you need to make good choices..i havent..it is going to be hard once baby is here, very hard.  just being honest.

Are you still on your bariatric vitamins or did you switch over to the prenatal vits?  Did you exercise any throughout your pregnancy?

i walked in the beginning but when i hit a wall with the nauseu and being so tired, i stopped..

i take 2 calciums a day, 1 prenatal and 1 multivitamin..that is what my surgeon suggested.
