The Pee Stick Olympics? WHEW!
Alright so I posted a few days ago regarding what HPT were the most sensitive so I literally just about bought one of each kind in regular and digital format. I have been alternating with each kind every other time I pee. My first digital taken yesterday was a Clearblue and clearly said NOT PREGNANT, however both an Answer and an almost identical looking First Response an hour ago gave me a very visible but still faint pink line. So $60.00 and 3 days later I am the Pee Stick Olympics Champion. It appears I will most likely be awarded a beautiful baby February 2010.
Still a bit shocked. But always feeling blessed!

Congratulations!
I use the dollar store ones for that reason. This cycle I started using them 6 DPO. My "excuse was I wanted to make sure it would be negative, not a false positive since I had a miscarriage in March". I already knew it would be negative since I had a beta done after the MC and it was 0. But, I just kept using them I think 10 in all, I am only out ten $ so not that bad.

congrats!
for the record, I had a digital positive with this one before a $ test came up positive. for me they take more hcg. and honestly imo they aren't that reliable. I had lines on answer and frer days before my digital and my digital 2 days before my $ test was +

Thanks to you all your such an encouraging group. This morning with first morning urine I did infact get a ClearBlue Digital to give me that affirming PREGNANT. I had never bought digitals prior to this so it is kinda neat to see that word appear no angling the pee stick just right in the light, holding it upside down, sideways or countless other ways I have probably tried to decipher pregnant or not. I am however a bit concerned as I have two hernias that have appeared due to my open RNY. I was actually seeing a Dr. to correct them back in October and he refused to do the surgery if I was ever going to have more kids. I wanted a Panniculectomy done at the same time and again I heard "that would be like building a house and tearing it down". Needless to say I left in tears. Anyhow I am glad to be back and have lurked at least once a week and now daily since I am "official". *grins*

Congratulations Joyce! A line is a line, no matter how faint. LOL on the pee stick Olympics. I used to wish I had bought stock in EPT's or FREDS after all the years of TTC and MMC!
BTW, I had a pre-existing csection hernia that, like you, I was hoping to have repaired with panni removal after RNY, but became PG prior. In my case, I only had issues with it in the 3rd trimester and it was just painful, not dangerous for me or the baby. Knowing it exists means better/closer monitoring, so that's a positive thing! Mine was partially repaired during my last csection, but I go for a surgical consult next month to finish the job.
Congratulations and I look forward to sharing in your journey.
Hugs,
