FRIDAY TTC POST (who is having lots of bding?)
CD6 on Sunday.
Feeling ok finally and back at work today after receiving my injection last Thursday. I still have slight leg/hip/back pain but not like before but I had a massive reaction to the injection. I am due back for the second one next Thursday and so not looking forward to it but I am still in some pain and the doctor advises that it usually takes two to three injections to terminate the pain fully. I am off all pain pills during the day time but still need them to sleep at night and only am able to sleep a couple hours at a time even with them. I admit I am fully exhausted and walking around in my sleep most of the time. Pain pills and TTC don't mix so I am still on hold for now but hoping for a positive sign in the future. Maybe luck will be with me this time.
Adoption is still there too but of course no phone call yet though I was advised that they did update our homestudy book recently.
Missing Ann and Sara too. Hoping all is well.
Congratulations to the graduate.

Tami I was wondering how you were feeling. Sorry you have to have another shot or two. Make sure you take your pain meds an hour before. It will make it easier. I learned my lesson about that after my plastics having drains removed.
I think that even though you are on pain meds you shouldn't waste the month. I don't think you are taking enough to make it harmful at this stage. I hope you concieve next week and post a BFP in 3 weeks.
Ann is on Facebook, are you on? Most of us old timers are there more then here.

I'm glad to see that you've at least had some improvement in your pain levels...and pray that the next week or so brings continued relief. Is the reaction you're having to the shots an allergic reaction? Or just a reaction to being jabbed? Is there any other 'formula' they can use that'd have the same effect?
If I were you, since you're indicated you're willing to adopt a slightly older child...I'd be calling once or twice a month to check the status of finding a child for you. I find it hard to believe that there aren't enough older children waiting to be adopted...and you never know...there could be siblings looking for a permanent home and someone to love them....and if you were successful in you TTC journey, all the more kids for you to enjoy!

I think I'm ovulating, either yesterday or today, not doing any tests this month, just trying to read my own body signs. So we got some BDing in and we'll see...
I'm really trying to get off my pain meds as they have been a problem for me and I'm nervous about being on them throughout a future pregnancy, I take them everyday now. I started going to a local program to try and figure out another way for me to manage the pain of my chronic kidney stones. Getting pregnant might just be the "motivation" I need to quit them cold turkey, it's pretty sad that I need that kind of motivation tho... it makes me really mad at myself...
