Which Pregnancy Test Detects HCG Quicker

Ok so I took a ClearBlue Easy yesterday. Nothing. Today another ClearBlue and a very faint line. So being shocked I go out to buy a Digital but the store didn't have any so I bought a two pack of EPT. I took one and it looks almost negative but... well I just wanted to know which out of these two brands was more sensitive and would a digital tell me with low levels of HCG as this is a quite early still. My period isn't due for 2 or 3 more days.

Thanks so much, I've been gone awhile but I may be back.

The clearblue digital or really any digital. They are the best you get a pregnant or not so they are the best.
GOOD LUCK ON YOUR BFP!!!

Actually your HCG has to be pretty high for a digital to pick it up, so they are not the best for early detection.

That website has a list of how each pregnancy test detects the HCG in your urine, so you can see for yourself what are the most sensitive.

I think that is a myth that your HCG has to be very high for a digital to pick it up. I took 4 pregnancy tests each of which took over 5 mins to show an extremely faint positive line. I then decided that I was going to wait til AM to take a clearblue digital. Well, I could not wait. Using mid-day urine at 12dpo I got my positive within just 20 or less seconds when it was supposed to take 2 full minutes I believe. Then did not have a blood test done until 5 days later at which point my HCG was at just over 200. I swear by the digital tests, I would get one and take it... and if you have the patience to wait use your first AM urine... but if I know I would not be able to wait... best of luck!

Joyce!!! Happy to see you back :)  I thought an EPT or First response were some of the better early ones...

But I know there are a lot more woman who have the low down on the tests.

I just wanted to say Hi and i'm glad to see you back :)

God... I miss Ann! I think the blue dye tests are more apt to have evap lines. I would go with a first response early. I had a line so faint with fmu on a frer...i mean so faint I was sure it was an evap...i ran to the store and got a digi and with 2nd mu I got a pg right away, next morning the fre was still super light but visible. For me the digis are the best. Good luck...hope this is it! Shari

Hey Shari, I have heard the term "evap line" but what does it mean?  Thanks

in the 5 years I've been playing this game, Answer has been the best and the most honest with me.  I've NEVER had an evap on an answer...ever!

and yes digital test absolutely need more HCG to pick up.  I had a faint faint faint line (I'd be happy to post some if you need comparisons to see if yours is positive) 3 days before a digital FINALLY came up positive.  I thought for sure i was losing my mind this time.
