Ob appt!!
I had my monthly appt on Thursday. It went well, although no u/s which I knew but still wishful thinking. We did get to hear the heartbeat on Doppler for the first time though. It was 157. The only kind of issue I have been having is round ligament pain. I have had 3 episodes of pretty intense pains. The Dr said this is pretty normal and as long as no bleeding with it just have to get through it.
I have gained about 5 lbs according to their scale but my appt was at 6:30pm and I always get so bloated at night not really sure I trust that. At home I am registering about 3 lbs.
I scheduled my anatomy scan where we will find out the sex for July 1st! I can't wait! I still haven't bought anything for the baby. I think I want to wait to figure out what I want till after I know the sex.

How exciting, Kim !! Even without the u/s it's always fun to hear the heartbeat!
We waited to buy things until we were sure our boy was a boy too! It's safer that way.

Hey... I had really bad intense round ligament pain from about 15-18 weeks.... I havent had any in like a week and half.. thank goodness..cuz its horrible, I never felt it before with my other 2 kids.....My heartbeat was 156 when I went last week........and that was the 1st time I heard it also! Got my ultrasound on friday woohoo....... june 5th! at 5pm......

Congrats on a great appointment and healthy gain. July 1st will be here before you know it, how exciting! I had the round ligament pain too and purchased ThermaCare heat wraps (the adhesive ones for menstrual cramps). I'd stick one on anytime it got really pad and it helped a lot.

DS:9 yrs old / DD:5 yrs old / DS: 1 yr old
I will have to look in to getting a wrap to try if for if it comes back. All 3x have been at work and it was awful it hurt to stand, it hurt to sit, just couldn't find a decent way to try to be semi comfy to ride it out.

Sounds like a great appt. I haven't really bought anything yet either, we did get some clothes that could go either way. We find out the sex of the twins in aweek!!

Congrats Kim.....isn't hearing the heartbeat great???? I love it...and cannot wait to hear the gender...I waited too....then went a little crazy....but now it has gotten worse... :( LOL the shopper I am :)
Anyway, I had the pain too...sucks....it hit me getting out of my car mostly....it did come back third trimester but I had no real ms so I took that over puking :)
