Finally got my clomid!!
For those of you that dont remember I was having trouble with my ovaries being enlarged and my doctor did not want to start the clomid until it had resolved.....well, it has!! I am so excited! I know that it does not work for everyone but I am just excited for new hope! I started today CD 3-7 with an ultrasound on CD12, then a trigger shot when the follicles are mature enough. I am so excited. I would love to hear any success stories from you guys. Wish me luck!
Hey Angie I am so happy to hear that you got your clomid and get to move forward!! I think that is awesome!!! I have been on Clomid many times pre-WLS and it did nothing for me however it was extrememly overweight with PCOS so it could work totally different after WLS! I wish you all the luck in the world! Can't wait to hear updates!!

I was on clomid my first IUI cycle. Prepare hubby for the mood swing!!!! THe first month wasn't as bad as the second and third month. My first month on clomid I had two mature follicles. The next two IUI cycles they did clomid and injections and I had three mature follicles. The third IUI cycle was the charm for me :)
Best of luck!

Stupid question...
I'm on my 2nd month of clomid...and we're supposed to do our first IUI this month. I go Monday for my u/s (10 days...he wanted to see me at 10 days rather than 12...who knows why?)...
Anyways...I did 50 mg of clomid last month, and I did ovulate (per the day 21 u/s)...but it didn't work. I'm on 100 mg this month for the IUI. I did ask, and he does do the trigger shot and two days back to back IUI.
After all that rambling...when you say the mood swings were worse the 2nd/3rd month...when did your moods start swinging? while taking the clomid? Around ovulation time? I honestly don't feel a thing with almost all my drugs...until the 2nd half of my cycle when I do the progesterone. That one makes me feel like I'm going to hurl all day long. I don't normally get PMS or moody (at least not majorly)...so don't know if that means I wouldn't get as moody w/clomid? Just trying to find out when I should warn my DH, just in case it happens.

The second and third month I was on clomid and injections and it made me not a very nice person :) The progestrone made me moody. By the thrid month everything was building up (two months of progestrone, three months of clomid, and the injections).
Maybe you are just lucky....count your lucky stars. I wish you all the luck in the world!! Keep me posted.
