I think I'm contracting / Updated
I'm only 25 weeks, I'm laying on the couch drinking water hoping they will go away...I know that's what L&D will tell me to do. If it gets bad enough I will drive an hour away to my Hospital and get a shot of trabudaline (sp?) I had pre-term labor with Zoe and was off work at about 28-30 weeks I can't afford to go off work yet, I will only get 55% of my pay.
Update...
I took a nap and drank a bunch of water and I'm not feeling anything anymore I will continue to rest the rest of the day..as much I can with a 10 and 1 year old. My only concern is I have to work tomorrow, 12 hours on my feet, but good thing is that I will be in L&D if I start contracting again...lol. I'm not having the baby at my hospital because I would never trust any of those C-section happy doctors, so I could just have one of the girls hook me up to a monitor and tell me if I'm contracting enough to need to go to my hospital to see my doctor.
Just a funny note...
I don't know If I ever told you guys that a few weeks ago I was at work and we were really slow so I gave myself an ultra sound, I give props to the ultra sound techs because I don't know what I was doing or what I was looking at. I did it again last night and I was a little better at it but it was probably just because the baby is bigger, he was sucking his thumb, it was so cute.

I hear ya - I am in Cali too and had to go out at 32 weeks. I was admitted overnight for my preterm and had several shorts of terbutaline - and now have the pills to take. They suck.
Hang in there and keep baking! If it gets too bad - just go in. I know the pay sucks, but in the long run it will be worth it to keep baking! :)
