Trouble Eating at 29 weeks

Has anyone had trouble eating during pregnancy? I'm not talking about nausea--rather, my pouch feels extra full on solids. It's as if the baby is pushing on my pouch and making it difficult to eat. Has anyone else experienced this?

That would be my guess...your baby is probably high, I know for me that I can't eat alot at one time but can eat more smaller snacks rather than sitting down and eating a mean.

Early in my pregnancy I could at tons.  Now I can only eat small amounts at a time.  I believe baby is squishing my pouch.  Just make sure you eat smaller meals more often, try not to overeat, I did and it was a horrible mistake (even at 4 1/2 yrs post op).

Good luck.

Very typical I think. I also experience a sugar thing. I usually pre-preg can eat about 25grams of sugar without getting dumpy...now it is like 8 or 10 and I get sicker than a dog, which keeps me in line with my sweets. I agree with the others, smaller snacks several times a day...and be sure to keep up on your vitamins. Shari

Im only 16 weeks preg.
But someone else told me that depending on where the baby is at sometimes I will feel full and some days I really can eat a whole lot, Im expecting twins so I have days where I will eat breakfast and not feel hungry untill dinner time...and then I feel guilty b/c I feel like im depriving the babies but what can we really do??
