Can't stop the itching! (TMI)

Do the vinegar tonight for relief, if you haven't been able to call the doctor.  As long as you are not douching with it, it's safe during pregnancy, and will help with the itch on the outside.  Hell, even using Listerine on a cottonball (stinks like mad for about 4 secs) but then blessed relief.

I was told I could use Monistat, but that the seven day treatment was the most safe during pregnancy.

Oh Cindy, these last few weeks of pregnancy have been challenging for you!  I had my first ever YI after RNY and same symptoms you're describing w/out discharge.  I took Diflucan (one oral pill), but it has not been proven safe during pregnancy.  Limiting sugar intake can also help.  Unfortunately, the pp's are correct that YI's during PG are treated with creams and/or suppositories - just check with your OB first.  I take a PEARL probiotic daily, together with eating yogurt, but even that isn't enough if you're on strong antibiotics.

So sorry and hope you find relief soon!

Hugs,

Jo
