I just bought my ex-husband a puppy

So my ex-husband lives out of state with his wife and she came to California for a wedding, since she was here she took Jacob (mine and the ex's son) for a few days. The ex is unemployed right now (he doesn't like authority and got fired from the porn shop) but told me his wife would give me a check for child support (only some of it, he owes me over $500.) I picked up Jacob from school today (she has had him the last 3 days) and he had scratches all over his face. I asked what they were from and he said from the new puppy his step-mom just bought to surprise his dad when she gets back home. So I asked Jacob if she gave him a check for child support to give to me and he said No. He called his step-mom and she said she knew nothing about it but she might be able to drop off a check for $60. Jacob than tried to call his dad....no answer....big surprise. His dad then text's my sons phone a says that they have no money right now and that his wife barely has enough money to get back home.....BULL****!!! I promised Jacob I would not tell his dad about the puppy, so I can't even call him back and go off about it. So I just bought the ex a freaking puppy! I'm so mad right now!!! When she gets back and gives him the puppy, I'm going to call and ask if he likes the puppy I bought him.

Why does your son know anything about child support.  That is an adult issue you shouldn't be involving your child in.

you have every right to be ticked... hang in there... one day he will get his... but how doyou get fired from a porn shop lol...

Knowing him he was probably stealing the merchandise...lol!

OMG - I would be peeved too!!

Oh and seriously - no one elses business whether or not your almost 11 year old child knows about your child support arrangements. That is your decision to make.

She was going to write me a check with her money, he's unemployed....he has no money.

He told me he was layed off, I found out from his sister that he was actually fired...I think it's funny also, really sad if you can't even keep a job at a porn shop.

I bought my ex some tacos yesterday!!! jejeje I was on my cell when he called my son on his cell and heard me talking to a restaurant about my tacos being made "wrong" and he said he wanted some too.

We were kind enough to order them and deliver them to him at his job since we were near by since he's bought me cold meds when I couldn't get up from bed and buy them myself. So it was an even purchase.

We have a very nice friendship now that we're not married and my hubby is ok with it.

I praise God I don't have to go through what you're going and he's always been responsible in paying his child support. His is taken out of his paycheck and he's always had a stabled job.

About his wife, don't know her,don't care to know her as lond as she treats my 12 yr old boy fine, I'm cool. I've never even seen the woman at all and don't even care how she looks.
