I took a nap at work today

It was either that or go home - I was green and icky and had a massive headache - I looked and felt like ass.  Told my boss - he said, please don't vomit on me and go home LOL.  Instead I went over to my full department - we have a conference room with a couch - and told my girls I needed to sleep and wake me in 1/2 hour.  They let me sleep for an hour which was just too funny - they said they figured I would be better off asleep than awake.

This is the kind of thing I would never recommend, but truly it is a wonderful thing to be in a position to get away with it!!!!

I had another coworker come up to me and say, you look like you need a hug.  I must really be looking like crap.

Aww you poor girl!! I wish that I could take a nap at work! I actually gave it serious thought today but I work with idiot men and they would find a reason to wake me! EVEN if I went to my car at lunch! I did sit with my feet up for a while though.

I did have 3 people at work today ask me if I was getting sick.... little do they know! lol

Hope you feel better soon!

OMG that is so funny!  I did too!!!  I was dying about 3:30 and falling alseep at my desk so I IMed my boss and asked if I could clock out for 10-15 minutes and sleep at my desk.  She said yes and I put my head down with headphones on and zonked for a good 10 minutes.  Definately did the trick.  Had a snack after and felt almost normal.

Hehehe.. first three months of pregnancy, I'd either truck off to my house (lived 10 minutes away) and zonk out for 30 minutes, or when we moved the work place to the other side of town, I put my sleeping bag and pillow in the back of my Durango and would go climb in at lunch and sleep for 45 minutes.  If I didn't show back up in 45 minutes, one of the co-workers would come find me to make sure I didn't oversleep my lunch hour.  ROFL

Naps are good!  So cute about your girls letting you have the extra naptime, Sharon.

Thankfully, it was cool enough outside during my first trimester that I could go out during lunch and take a nap in my car!
