I hope I am not doing the wrong thing but I do agree that we need a TTC board for those that are doing so. Its not fair that we all have to stick to this board even if it is hard to be here and see all the happy things even though we have had M/C's. I personally do not mind coming to this board as there , if I couldnt handle it i just took a short break and got it together. I do understand 110% that it hurts so very much to have a loss. I have had for miscarriages and a tubal pregnacy, which totals 5 loses for me. I do know first hand it hurts badly.

Anywho I could jack my jaws for weeks about this but that is not what this thread is for.
is soooooooooo much support here. The few times I did m/c when being a part of this board
What this thread is for is too take poll on all of your opinions on if we should try to get a board just for TTC"ers. Please cast your vote here yes or no and what u think.

My opinion is that I think we need a board just for TTC'ers.

Please take a moment and respond and I will give 24 hours and then i will contact whoever needs to be contacted and ask for this board to be started.
I hope I am not stepping on anyones toes and I hope I am doing the right thing.I just get fed up with all the bickering and im sure many of you can second that.

BIG hugs to all
Sandy

Sandy - great idea, although when I was TTC I found it extremly helpful to have the opinions of the ladies who were successful (which means that they wouldn't be posting on a TTC board they would post here since they are now expecting)

That is just my humble opinion and I wish you ALL the best with it!  If you feel that strongly about it please use my name as a "for" so that you can support your cause!

*hugs*

Sandy,

As usual you are great about taking the lead....it sounds like that is what some people want...I personally believe that TTC is a part of getting to pregnancy....but I hope you get the board you want.

Take care,

Ann

If people feel the need to separate the two, which I see sort of as one and the same...because most of the pg women were once TTC women (not counting the 'ooops' who weren't really trying & just got blessed) - and I pray that all my fellow TTCers will one day join the pg ranks and stay that way - then I wouldn't object...I'd just have to visit both places, pregnant or not.  I would hesitate to tell someone who is having a hard time with all the successes that, 'No, I don't care how you feel...keep the two together and suck it up,' because I do care and don't want them to have to suffer unduly.

That said, if it could be suggested to everyone to try to consolidate the threads (ie the belly pictures from yesterday) rather than have so many posts one after the other of belly pictures (which I LOVE to see by the way)...maybe that'd be easier?  Maybe have a 'Hump Day Bumb Day' where someone posts their belly pictures on Wednesday ('hump' day) and everyone adds theirs in (sort of like the baking mama's and TTC lists)...that'd consolidate them?

For my two cents...the pg women are my inspiration and hope on my TTC journey.  So many have had similar problems w/mc's like I have and have gone on to have successful pregnancies or are currently experiencing a successful pregnancy, that I'd hate to miss out on their expertise/experience and happiness....

I felt it would be great to have a TTC board.  But what Liz said makes alot of sense too.
I personally don't see any problems floating back and forth between a Pregnancy and TTC board with any questions I have.

I think it's a great idea! Many times I have not posted excited news about my pregnancy because I felt bad their was a post below that someone had a M/C. I sometimes feel like it's a rubbing it in to the people TTC. I have actually thought about this many times, glad you brought it up.

IMO.....I think their needs to be a TTC board separate form the post-op pregnancy board.  Yesterday's drama has resulted in the loss of not 1 but 2 of our board followers.  Ann and Kelly.  I think that if their would have been a TTC board for Ann to go and vent too, then yesterday would have not happened.

In all honesty....if I can't come here and share my pregnancy excitement, without worrying about offending someone then....sadly I may not stick around.

My vote is YES to a TTC board!

Ash :)

I'm in agreement with Ashley.

a ttc forum is needed.

I'm not going to worry about offending anyone with a post.  if I do, I do.

I'm I am not at liberty to post my OWN thread about my OWN pregnancy then why should I be here?

While I completely respect the opinions expressed, I really think its absurd to ask pregnant women to not express their happiness over their condition on a pregnancy forum.  It's like asking the WLS boards to not post successes out of respect for those who can't get the surgery.

I support a TTC forum entirely.

I am not alone, neither are you.

I would like to participate in that kind of board, but will probably post on both.  I don't post much on here, but hopefully there will be a lot more posts from me in about five months.
