16.5 week OB Appt.

Hi--

Late next week I'll be having my next OB appointment...I will be 16w3d by that time. Assuming the baby cooperates, do you think it's realistic for me to expect to learn the gender that day? Over the past week or so, I've been CONSUMED with finding out the sex. I've stared at my last U/S printout until I've gone bug-eyed trying to see any indication.

Yup, I'm on my way to driving myself completely insane by the end of this pregnancy!

I think it's possible! 

The OB "saw" my boy at 12 weeks..... but at 16 weeks it was VERY apparent to me without anyone pointing it out.

I hear girls are harder to tell....  but my boy wasn't shy about showing his parts as early as 16 weeks.

I had an ultrasound at 16 weeks.  Hannah kept her legs tightly closed.  My OB said she thought I was having a girl, but she couldn't be for sure without getting a better view.   She was right, I had a girl.  I hope the baby cooperates!

YES!!  We saw walker at 15 weeks 5 days.  I just looked at his old one.  You could really see his little pee-pee!!! lol  Good luck!  I can't wait to find out either, so you are not alone!  Keep us posted!

I would think so. I was about 17 weeks when I found out I was having a boy and he was proud to show us!

I found out at 16 1/2 weeks with this one :)
You wanna know something funny?? They could tell at my ultrasound last week that she was peeing in me!

I was 15 weeks with my son and it was a BOY!!!

I was told at 16 weeks that my second child was a boy so we bought everything for our boy and when they pulled the baby out of me, It was indeed a GIRL!!!


Not trying to scare you but the only way to actually beable to know for sure from what i was told is a amnio and i did have one of them with my son and i was thrilled i didnt have to do so with my daughter.
