Music to This Expectant Mom's Ears...
"Hi, my name is Paula and my baby wants ice cream."
So, my husband and I have finally made progress and selected new toilets to replace our current ones...which are from 1966. ("Eww, gross!") It just so happens that new toilets these days don't come with seats...one must purchase them seperately. Our bathroom showcase store is near this awesome homemade ice cream stand...so in an email from my husband, he wrote:
"If you want to pick out the seats on your own that's fine, otherwise we can do it on the weekend and work in an ice cream trip."
Oh, how that man knows just what to say! If I'm going to eat ice cream, I like to get local, fresh-made stuff. I find it more enjoyable and I'm less likely to OD on it because it is rich.

There's an amazing contractor that several of our neighbors use...and he's doing work for one of them right now. I'm planning on snagging him one day and asking him to stop by to see what he says needs to be done to fix the tub's issue. (I believe it to be completely rotted wallboard behind and floor below the bathtub...which is causing tiles to fall in our main bathroom and our master bathroom next to it.) We're also going to ask him to give us a quote for the "full vision" I have--tearing down the wall betwee the two baths to give more room to the tiny, tiny master bath.
Once we have the two quotes the debating will begin as to what to do and when. Of course, I keep letting my husband know how much my "tender areas" still hurt and ache from the yeast infection and how much a bath would help sooth them. The infection is long gone, but things are still overly sensitive. For now I'm using a sitz bath but it is messy and quite frankly, a HUGE pain in my growing ass!
Thanks for remembering, Liz!

hahaha, Paula, that is hilarious. I was the same way when preggo, anything for ice cream. I still love it but dump again now that Quade isnt in there taking care of it :)
I love the fresh stuff, and will still go get it, illjust eat a couple of bites instead of the 2 scoops me and Quade ate (when preggo)
