I hope you feel better soon...Oh- and from when I tried sea sick bands- I made chum for the crew on the boat for 8 hours.  They were happy- I wasn't.  Maybe they work better with non-sea issues.  Yes- keep hydrated and you have a great mind set...I tell myself everyday when I get those painful injections--all for the baby.

You know, sometimes OB's seem oddly reluctant to provide nausea relief. Mine just kept reiterating that I should eat something first thing in the morning, eat small meals, etc.. and that as long as I was hydrated and not throwing up TOO much, I was fine. I commented that, "well, my band surgeon would prefer I not throw up at all if possible" and he whipped out a prescription pretty fast!

She told me that if I couldn't get my fluids in for 24 hours to call. I will fight if I have to! lol I can deal with it but CAN'T deal with dehydration and don't want to end up in the ER for something a little zofran can cure!

I totally know what you are going through! I took a shower this morning and just threw up the entire time. It seems like I have to eat cheerios all day long to avoid the "24/7 sickness." I have my first OB appointment this afternoon so I hope they will give me something for the nausea because I can't do this much longer!!!

Hey Liz, I hear ya on that one!  I am not having "morning" sickness...rather NIGHTIME sickness.  I get a pit in the base of my chest and It told my husband it makes me not even want to talk for fear that I am going to spew all over.

Good luck at the drs...let me know what they give you because I may choose to invest in some myself.  :(

Hope the meds help.

Once you get to where you can hold something down...reading how everyone's recommending upping your fiber, I wanted to tell you an easy way to do that.  Get some Benefiber and put it in your water, juice, or whatever you're drinking.  It disolves into 'nothing' in the water and you won't even know it's there.  It does not turn into a 'jelly fish' floating around in your drink like metamucil does, and has no flavor.  I am always constipated and as long as I drink my jug (1 1/2 liters) with a few spoons of that every day, it helps tremendously.

Hope you and the porceline god come to a parting of ways - or at least work on your other relationship together - soon.

Oh Liz...I have joined the club too...my appt on Tuesday the doc handed me a scrip for Zofran and Phenegran...My sister still has some leftover so i will use hers first...I am definently feeling the preggy sickness though...last night we went out for hubby's birthday and ate Japanese. I was so looking forward to it...we ate and 10 minutes later i was sick as a dog...oh boy...Anthony and I went to my Mom's house afterwards and on the way there he got sick had to pull into a gas station and use their facilities...I just stayed in the car with the A/C on and breathed really deep to keep from losing it...it was rough I stayed sick to my stomach the rest of the night...and this morning i feel rough too. But like you said anything for a healthy baby!!
