Has anyone ever tried Quorn?
It's a meat-less, soy-less meat alternative. I tried it last night because lately I can't tolerate meat well and I can't stand the feel of chewing gristle... IDK I just haven't liked meat lately. So I tried this in a taco salad last night and it was delicious. It's low fat and full of protein too! I think I might be in like with this stuff.
I have not tried that brand, but I have had the soy meat crumbles from Morning Star Farms and it is really good. I have used it in Chili and in other recipes in place of ground beef. I also eat the meatless burgers ( spicy black bean, asain, flame grilled) with out the bun and they are great. I like to cut them up and put them over a salad. The black bean is great to make taco salad with.

Quorn is great! I would use it a lot more than I do, but it also contains wheat and my husband is alletgic. The crumbles are great in chili and spaghetti!
