My baby has big feet !

Had my "big" ultrasound on Friday....

We already knew we were having a boy.  But we got to see his kidneys, stomach, bladder, parts of his brain, heart chambers and his REALLY BIG FEET.

He measured between 19-20 weeks for all body parts except his feet which measured 21 weeks.  LOL.    The tech said the measurements have a margain of error and since I am 21 weeks there is nothing to worry about.

They have my due date listed as 06/05/09  based on LMP  (My OB has it as 06/10/09) and this ultrasound puts my due date at 06/08/09.  I asked the doc and he said since the date they use based on my LMP  falls in a 2 week window of the ultrasound date they would use the LMP date.

So I guess my due date is 06/05/2009 ?   My husband wants the baby born on 06/06/09 -- 3 months before our 1 year wedding anniversary.

Below is a link to his baby pictures.... if you scroll down the left side the bottom two are the most recent (20 week) ones.

Seriously, I've lived this statement.  At 32 weeks they estimated weight at 4lbs 12oz, then at 36 weeks 7lbs 5oz (87th percentile).  A week later my OB decided to induce me because they were expecting larger than average birth weight and a C-section would be complicated for me.  Well the midwife on staff expected me to be 8-8.5 according to her expert analysis the morning I was admitted.  And yet when my "peanut" came out he was only 6lbs 12oz.  LOL, but he's healthy and doing well so all's good.

I am not alone, neither are you.

Wow !  That is quite a margin of error!

I will use caution if they start talking my baby being too big.... right now he's right on track or maybe a little small --- again, margain of error, right?  LOL.

I guess I won't hold too much stock in the measurements.... as long as he looks healthy.
