adding vegetable oil to formula???
I've never heard of it. My daughter has always been on the small side (not even on the growth charts) because she was early and her pediatrician whom I have much respect for never suggested anything like that. I don't know if it makes any difference or not about this particular issue but she was breastfed.
I'm sorry I'm new here so I don't know your situation. I assume your little one is also on the small side? Was he/she early? How old is the baby?

Welcome to the board. I have twins they were 5 weeks premee, and are now 4 months old. My son Nicolas was born with a cleft lip, so I have breastfeed him through a bottle. I have been adding formula to his breastmilk to increase the calories. Now they want me to try this. I agree with all of you. This sounds crazy and scary.... Thanks for your input. - suzy
Ok, so I did a search just for the heck of it...the one I saw on diapers.com was similac-but seemed more for newborns...unless you talkd to a doc...other wise Enfamil has one also...here is a link if you were interested!
